Description
We need to place cats that are not considered 'pet quality' cats because they are only semi-tame or not tame at all. All will have been fully vetted so all that will be required of an adopter is proper shelter from the elements (a barn, a shed, cozy sleeping places) and regular feeding. Of course, if one becomes ill, medical attention would be required. We will waive the adoption fee for the right placement. Also, if you are interested in setting up a feral cat colony of 2-10 cats, Roxie will work with you on how to do that. These kitties are alive and deserve to live out their lives being protected and cared for. Can you help? Do you know anyone who can help? Placing these kitties will mean we have more room for highly adoptable cats whose lives are currently at risk. Thanks so much! If you email with an inquiry, links can be sent to you about feral colonies and their management. ------------------------------------------- Our adoption fee is $45 with a cardboard cat carrier, or $40 if you provide a carrier. All cats must be transported safely in a carrier. Additional carriers are $5 each. The fee includes: -Worming -Testing for Leukemia (FeLV) and AIDs (FIV) -Core vaccinations FVRCP CHL and Rabies if old enough -Ear mite and flea check and treatment -Spay/neuter -Free sample bag of Hill's Science Diet cat food -Lifetime guarantee of the right for the cat/ kitten to be returned to the shelter for any reason. WITH VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS, CATS ADOPTED FROM US MUST BE KEPT INDOORS AT ALL TIMES. Come to the shelter to complete an adoption application, or print one from the 'adoption' page of our website http://www.guardianangelscatclub.org and bring it in. Out of town adopters or those wishing to expedite the adoption process may send proof that pets past and present have been spayed/neutered and kept current on shots, along with the application. Please note we do not ship cats! Adopter must come in person to the shelter. Our adoption contract requires that cats be returned to us if for any reason at any time you cannot or will not be able to keep the cat. This includes giving us the option to accept the cat back at the shelter if your vet recommends euthanasia (unless the cat is obviously very injured or sick and suffering at the time)
