Tabby - Brown - Medium - Adult - Female - Cat - Friday
Description
* { font:inherit; } Please contact Margaret (MAJARR2000@aol.com) for more information about this pet.9/1/09 Here are some new pictures of me. The fur has grown over the surgery site on my leg, and I've mellowed quite a bit. I now like attention. Please meet me in Feather's Suite next time you visit.2/2/09 I added a picture of volunteer Beth holding me (she LOVES me) so you can see how cuddly I can be with the right person.12/15/08 Don't forget to ask to visit Feather's Suite and meet us kitties in that room.9/1/08 I'm in 'Feather's Suite' which is kinda hard to find. You have to ask for it. Come and visit us in the Suite.5/12/08 I've settled into the green room at the new shelter and I'm doing fine. Please come visit.12/1/07 I'm walking around the shelter and doing well. I can be grumpy at times but I'm soon over it. Please come meet pretty me.11/3/07 I am waiting for someone special to come and adopt me. It is crowded here, so please come soon! 8/8/07 Thank you to some humans who gave a donation to sponsor me. Many meows! 8/6/07 I am the original lame leg kitty, but there are now two of us here! My goodness, what is that all about? Anyway, I am back at the shelter (from the hospital) and have finished my post-surgery antibiotics. I am just awaiting a final visit to the vet so I can be approved for adoption. I am getting around very well on only three legs. And of course, I am still gorgeous! Where is my Special Someone? 7/16/07 After three attempts to fix my leg surgically, it looks like I may lose it. Boo. But if that means I will be pain-free then I'll be happy! I know I'll adjust well and there is someone out there to love me anyway! These folks could use some help with my very expensive vet bills! 5/30/07 I had to have a second knee surgery to remove some scar tissue that was making the ligaments slip back out of place. Now I'm going to stay quiet for a month so it can all heal. Please come visit with me as I get lonesome! Diary 4/7/07 I am not so inclined to bite now that I am feeling better, after that surgery! They tried to take some pictures of my pretty side (the other side was shaved for surgery). Come meet me, please? Diary 4/3/07 I had my surgery and it went well. I am recovering now and sure hope I feel all better soon. Could you come and get to know me? Pictures don't do me justice! Diary 2/24/07: I arrived a couple weeks ago in a trap! I was hungry, skinny and hurting. I've been to the vet who took x-rays and observed me. She thinks I have an old knee injury that didn't heal well. I know if you touch me in that area I might bite! I have to wait awhile to see how things go with the leg. But I may need surgery for a 'luxating patella' (messed up kneecap, in other words). I am enjoying unlimited food and clean water, and pets from visitors and volunteers. You can't see in the pictures but I have pretty 'marble' markings on my side and a gorgeous tail! Our adoption fee is $45 with a cardboard cat carrier, or $40 if you provide a carrier. All cats must be transported safely in a carrier. Additional carriers are $5 each. The fee includes: Worming Testing for Leukemia and AIDs Core vaccinations (including rabies tag) Ear mite and flea check and treatment Spay/neuter or voucher for spay/neuter Free sample bag of Hill's Science Diet Cat/ Kitten Food Lifetime guarantee of the right for the cat/ kitten to be returned to the shelter for any reason. Come to the shelter to complete an adoption application, or print one from the 'adoption' page of our website http://www.guardianangelscatclub.org and bring it in. Out of town adopters or those wishing to expedite the adoption process may bring proof that pets past and present have been spayed/neutered and kept current on shots. Please note we do not ship cats! Adopter must come in person to the shelter. Our adoption contract requires that cats be returned to us if for any reason at any time you cannot or will not be able to keep the cat. This includes giving us the option to accept the cat back at the shelter if your vet recommends euthanasia (unless the cat is obviously very injured or sick and sufferering at the time).
