Hi, remember me? I was here in DRNA last August with a bad case of demodectic mange. Many of you helped me get well, and I can tell you I appreciate every one of my angels. I felt so much better. Well, I went to a home in November and stayed about six months, but it just wasn't working out, and I got stressed so my demodex came back. My DRNA mom said I needed to get back here and get well, so we could find just the right home for me. I've been back since the first week of May, and I'm doing SO much better, and am almost all healed up. So, I really would like to start looking for my forever home. I'm a tiny guy, shouldn't weigh more than about 8 to 8.5 lbs. I gained a couple of pounds while I was gone, but I've already lost half a pound. I'm about 2 years old. I'm very sweet, and seem to like most everyone. Can you talk to my DRNA mom and see if I am the right match for you? When Quincy was here the last time, because of his demodex and the fact we could not vaccinate until that was under control, he could not be taken out and about. This time, we've begun taking him to the dog park, doggie stores, the vet, doggie day care and he is doing just great. I can tell that he hadn't been out much before, i.e. even on walks because he is constantly looking at everything and checking everything out. He's just a bit cautious at first, but was making friends with the dogs and other people at the dog park. Because he is SO tiny, he needs to be monitored around larger dogs. He is living with 3 standard sized dachshunds right now, and I think he is the BOSS!!! But, these are his brothers from before, so he is right at home with them all. Even though Quincy has done fine with a couple of elementary school aged children, he will not be placed in a home with toddlers due to his size. And, he must have a dog buddy in his new home; we found this is a must. Please email me for more information about Quincy!!! He is located in Oklahoma and his adoption fee is $275.
